Jarred Vanderbilt

The Lakers' good stretches came from the bench trio of Jarred Vanderbilt, Collin Sexton and Sandro Mamukelashvili, coach JJ Redick said. He called Mamukelashvili probably Vanderbilt's best frontcourt partner: "another big out there that can space and shoot and play big."

Jarred Vanderbilt could see backup center minutes for the Lakers. JJ Redick said he fits the wing and forward better, but there will be moments he will "by necessity have to play some 5." Kevon Looney's fit, after minutes that haven't gone well, is "still a work in progress."
