Sunderland manager Régis Le Bris named Romaine Mundle, Daniel Ballard and Habib Diarra as injured. "We don't have many injuries," he said. "They are serious." He said Diarra's absence lets Chemsdine Talbi onto the restricted Europa League squad list.
Habib Diarra is out around six weeks with a muscle injury, just after working back from another. Sunderland manager Régis Le Bris said Monday the club must understand why before planning his return. Dan Ballard is back on the bike, aiming to train mid-December if all goes well.
From Sunderland's media availability: the squad is "more or less available" for the Premier League trip to Coventry on 31 October, minor knocks aside, with Daniel Ballard and Romaine Mundle the exceptions, no detail given. Wilson Isidor "should be available".
