Leaky Black started Friday's loss to the Spurs for size and wing defense with Keegan Murray and De'Andre Hunter out. Kings coach Doug Christie said Black's heavy minutes, put at 39 by a reporter, came from being left in late, but "he's earned his minutes" in practice.

Leaky Black signed a two-way deal with the Sacramento Kings after being waived, and says the staff wants him as "the defender and I guess a playmaker": "I don't think anyone expects me to score like 30 points." The deal "brought me to tears," but it's "not the end goal."
